Fish oil benefits

Fish Oil Pills

There are a ton of different fish oil pills on the market today, but which ones are best?

You should look out for a few different things to make sure your fish oil is not dangerous and causing more harm than good.

Make sure that…

1.) Your fish oil contains a high level of Omega 3 fatty acid (some have low concentrations, and Omega 3 is really the main benefit of taking fish oil in the first place.)

2.) Your fish oil filters out contaminants like mercury (some do not filter these harmful heavy metals out of their oil, and can cause health problems over time.)

3.) Your fish oil is quality controlled and is not rancid inside the casing of the pills (some have been sitting in a back room somewhere for literally years and have gone rancid. Many times you will get “rancid fish burps” you don’t want to have this happen.)

4.) Your fish oil does not contain “designer oil” fillers, like soybean oil, or safflower oil. (You’re paying for *fish* oil, not other filler oils, so don’t get ripped off.)

That’s a pretty good list to make sure you’re not short changing yourself, and to make sure that you’re not doing yourself more harm than good by taking a high quality fish oil supplement.

If you want to cut through the hype and get the best stuff on the market for a very reasonable price check out these fish oil pills, they fit all the requirements above, plus more.

Other alternative options are the “Kirkland Signature” brand at Costco, or Nortic Naturals.

All things equal though, I trust Mark Sisson, and his fish oil pills the best.

I’d at least check them out before looking elsewhere.
